Taking the Shinkansen all over Japan, it's really the way to see that country. From Tokyo to Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima, Japan is an amazing place. Day trips from Tokyo to Kamakura and Nikko are not to be missed. And a trip up to Hokkaido, which is the northern island in Japan where I went to Niseko Mountain and got in some snow boarding. Of course you can't miss out on Shinjuku and the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo.
